How do I disable profanity filter? Does that option even exist?

I'm confused, does this option just not exist? Whenever I enter text that contains language, it turns into asterisks. Is there no option to disable this? not even on a user basis? If not, I don't think you guys should just ban edgy content all together. Parental/user controls are a thing, you can just utilize that instead of resorting to this.

    No. Basically, the filter isn't very good right now and is over-eager. You can't turn it off.

    There's probably too many regulations at play concerning social media platforms for this to be a thing. Sony has a community code of conduct, various governments have regulations, etc. Plus the game is rated for teens, so I don't think Mm is likely to include a feature to unfilter stuff that's against policy in the first place.

    This has been severely dampening my dreams mood since launch. Even words that are literally always used in 'T' rated games - even one that's used IN ART'S DREAM - are censored. Then, of course, there are oddities like half-censored words. Sony's over-steering, and I'll say it until it isn't true anymore.

    I was actually shocked when I found out you can’t cuss. They boast that you can create anything you want. I wanted to make an intense mafia scene but the characters can’t cuss. Whether you think I can still portray what I need to or not without cussing, it’s my dream, isn’t it?

    It’s a creative damper in my opinion and takes away from the freedom that is inherently in the blood of this game.
