How to switch between different puppets without the imp with a timeline?
Just interested if there is a way for imp to automatically switch to another puppet whilst being consistent with the timeline and all of it's lightning, sound, cameras etc.
The first puppet has force possesion enabled. Do I have to make a counter of some sort and try to match it with the timeline or is it possible to have this feature right on the timeline with the rest of the things?

Hi there,
I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to do, but you could place a keyframe that records you selecting the force possession, have it either then set to keep changes, or be for the duration that you want that puppet possessed, and then do the same for your other puppets, a different keyframe for each one, turning on their force possession.
Thanks,

Thanks for responding #6! You understood me correctly so no worries ?! Trying to follow your instructions but I fail pretty miserable. By the way sorry if this next part will be hard to understand. I will try my best!
Getting a key frame with force possesion on the first puppet works perfectly. When I add another keyframe for the 2nd puppet (on the same row as the first key frame) and enable force possesion on 2nd puppet the Imp never switches over from the 1st puppet to the 2nd one. I haven't enabled keep changes.
At first I thought that I needed 2 keyframes per puppet, one that toggles on and one that toggles off the force possesion but because a keyframe is just for a given frame if add another keyframe and enter the same puppet force possesion will already be toggled off.
On a sidenote. Do I need a blendtype and whatnot? -
Hey!
That's good that I understood :)
So it's my bad that it didn't fully work! I missed something out!
So what you will need is to send a signal to the De-possess on the 1st puppet when you want the 2nd to be possessed.
I would probably put a switch on the timeline that activates when the 2nd keyframe is going on and hook it's output onto De-possess, that way it sends a de-possess signal to the 1st puppet and the force possession is active on the second so then the imp will shoot into the second puppet.
Also if you want to hide your imps so you don't see the imp jump between characters then if you have a camera in the scene you could select it and set it to hide imps on the second page.
In terms of the blendtype that's mainly used for if you're blending two things together, for example if you're keyframing a sun & sky gadget to create a day/night cycle, if you're having the glow of a sculpt pulse between glowing and not, or to blend the movement of an object in your scene from one position to another :)
Thanks,
