Is there a way to broadcast logic to objects in play mode?

My goal is to look at a blank object with the laser scope and then press a button and broadcast some logic to it so that it behaves a certain way.

In LittleBigPlanet there was a broadcast microchip. Is there any way to do that in dreams?

    Are you looking for the signal transmitter and signal receiver gadgets? I hope I got these gadget names right. I’m not on my PS4 right now.

    Not necessarily. unless I'm mistaken, the transmitter only transmits to receivers.

    I want to make a grab feature in my first person project.

    The only way I can think to do this is have my character broadcast to one object in front of me, a set of "follow" commands.
    So far the only way to do it is have the follow commands already built into the object and then have my character hold a tag in front of it. The problem with this is that too many objects carrying that logic will take up space in the game.

    If there was some way to broadcast that logic (like in LBP3 with the broadcast microchip) then it would save a ton of potential space.

    If the broadcast chip can't be done in the beta than can we please have it added in later?
