    Interesting idea! Sculpt detail adjustment vs looseness is probably doable. Though it's worth noting you'll never get exactly the same results... as in, flecks will be in different places etc. because the algorithm for looseness is different to detail level. But if the creator is cool with that, then they could use the tool for sure.

    Merging sculpts together would be very difficult to calculate how to do because of how the engine works. So that would be awesome... but unfortunately may not be possible with the current architecture.

    I'm not so sure about putting all non-chipped logic into a chip? Could cause havoc with the gizmos and such. And where would the chip be placed? You probably wouldn't be able to move it afterwards because it would mess the gizmos up so that would be important to get right.

    When I want to move stuff into a chip, I tend to make a chip and select the stuff I want to move in and drag it in there. ;P That way I have full control over how it's grouped, where the chip is, etc.

    (Also this wouldn't change thermo, but I guess you were talking about the sculpts.)
