String interpolation?

Hey, is there any way to interpolate numbers into Strings? I.e. dynamically insert changing numbers into text boxes. I want to use the Active Port output to dynamically show what menu a user is on, but cant find a way how. Thanks!

  You can sit a number dislayer and a text box on top of one another. The box displaying the changing number can have all its borders switched off to make it look like it's part of the text box underneath. Insert blank spaces in the text displayer to make room for the numbers. The number can then change in real time while the text remains the same and it all looks like one single text box.
