how do i subtract color on a sculpt when using spray paint?

because of the bug where you cant spray paint on something thats been colored another way i cant undo the spray paint that did happen without me knowing and it messed my sculpt up i know i can fix it by replacing the color and paint again but ADD A SUBTRACT SPRAY PAINT TOOL.

  I'm not sure what the bug is you're referring to. What "other way" was it coloured? Which spraypaint tool are you using?
  
  Are you talking about Tinting the Coat? Click the add/subtract button in the menu to move between the two modes.

  sorry should have said more, its a bug that mm knows about where if you change the objects color then try to spray paint it you dont see that color until you remove the color on the object in its options, after i saw my spray paint that i did but i couldnt remove it made a mess out of my object so i had to spray paint over it to fix it instead of being allowed to turn of subtract on spray paint mode to then remove the color.
