How Do I Create an Auto-Aim Ranged Weapon?
I'm currently messing around with the Ancient Times assets and thought I'd use the Imp quest as an excuse to learn a few things.
I'm trying to make an isometric twin-stick ish game with similar mechanics to Control. I've got the character to attract small rocks using a Force Applier and using the same tool to turn them into a projectile.
In order to make it more fun I'd like to be able to target nearby enemies but I can't work it out. I've used tags, trigger zones, followers but they don't seem to reach the enemy.
Any ideas??

I'd make a hidden sculpt, and put a look-at rotator on it that targets the tag in the enemy. This will rotate that sculpt to point towards the enemy. Then add the force applier onto it in "direction" mode with "local space" turned on so that as the gadget rotates, so does the direction.
Then perhaps teleport the whole thing to the player's position. -
