How do I animate with a joint and keep the position afterwards?
Obvioulsy I've tried 'Keep Changes' but the problem is that whenever we use joints, the child must become moveable, therefore as soon as any animation is finished, the parts I'm using then flop around due to gravity.
Is there a way to make them stay in place when doing someting like, a door that opens vertically for example?
I must be missing something because I'm struggling to see the use for the joints when I'm making contraptions as they just flap around, even with very high tightness it seems.

Try setting ignore gravity in the object tweak menu to on.
