make time stamps for my music track

I currently do not know how long my song is. My track is divided into sections, but it would help somewhat if I knew at what time of the song I am currently working in. For example I am not working at the 1 minute and 12th second of the song.

  Hi.
  
  there are time increments shown at the top of the timeline. Unless it's set to frames in which case you can change it by pressing x while hovering over the units it's displayed in.

  If you click on the bars:notes display on the top-right of that window, it will change to showing minutes and seconds. (And milliseconds?)
