How do i unlock the dream shaping mode it says

It says to talk to the dream queens imp but all that does is take me out of the cone and I'm stuck on this screen until I possess the cone but I cant do anything else am I missing something here?

  Hi destryerofevl187, have you tried moving your imp over the blue button and clicking it?
  
  This should start the tutorial.
