stop a puppet from having knockback

I am testing my weapons on puppets but the puppet always steps backwards after being hit. How do I stop this?

  Turn off collision on the thing hitting them, perhaps?

  Adding to what Tapgiles said, you could tag the puppet as an "enemy" and make it so your weapon doesn't collide with "enemies" and instead is will look like the weapon slices through them
