Wireblend function - Overwrite, Blend, Modulate ???
Can somebody explain these 3 types to me? I don't understand the definitions that Mm give you when you hover over this function. I'm sending an audio signal into a light to modulate the brightness, and I really don't want any type of "processing" to be introduced on the wire hookup. I'm not sure which of the 3 choices given I should choose. Thank you, in advance.

My docs discuss this in detail: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gvFqQl84-kEIO0u3PRTXmXMQDEcnV8kCm80bLNur_7M/edit#heading=h.n34zrokuiu27
The basics: For a single wire coming in, "overwrite" or "blend" will set the slider's value. Modulate will multiply the slider's base value by the number coming in through the wire.
So you might want to use "overwrite" here. Though the brightness of a light (or whatever) will normally accept a value from 0 - 1. So if the audio envelope goes higher than 1, it won't look right; the brightness will stick to 100% for a while instead.
There are ways to fix that (involving a signal manipulator) I can get into if that problem comes up. -
Blend mode was made no sense, what happen actually?
