If I delete an object that is sourced elsewhere , will it get deleted down the chain ?
I’m worried about deleting stuff because of this.

I'm not sure what you mean.
If you have an object that you imported, and that version is deleted, it could mess up your scene I believe. However! This would only happen if the version in your scene is local-only. So if you upload it in some way, and update that creation within the scene (modes > update), you can delete the local save without it messing up that scene.
And remember, if you upload the scene so it's online in some way, it would have to upload assets it uses anyway, so that would save you some time. -
I’d feel happier if every time is saved it online , it didn’t start pulling old versions and making them the latest. Saving online is inherently broken at this point.

I haven't had that happen to me at any time. Everything works absolutely fine for me, and I've done a fair bit of uploading things that contain other creations.

I’m not sure how to respond to , “ i haven’t had it happen “ to a bug report ? Try just searching to see other people having the same problem. Please don’t comment again if that the best you can come up with, do you think people are mentioning this for a joke ?
