Divert controller audio to speakers

I play a lot with headphones, and sometimes I find that the controller is blasting out some sound that I wasn't aware of. If you just don't want the controller making noise, you can turn down the volume in the PS4 settings. But what if you want to hear the sound coming from the controller, but just coming from the headphones/speakers instead? I'm reminded of Arkham City on the Wii U, where some of the necessary game audio came out of the controller, but you couldn't hear it if you had headphones on.

  Dreamers could always build an option like this into their creations, but I'm wondering how to accomplish this as a player.

  Yeah... I don't think there's a way of doing this from the player's side unfortunately. I'd like the same option.
