Inverse kinematics for hands?
I am wondering how would I go about making a puppet hold a baseball bat (for example). I know the bat would be attached to one hand and follow that hands position and orientation, however you would normally hold the bat with two hands, so how would I make the secondary hand follow the bat around? I tried using the teleporter but the hands gets dettached from the arm, which is not quite what I was looking for. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions on how to handle this

I'm not entirely sure but I would say the best start would be to group the bat with one of the puppet hands. Now when you move the hand, the bat goes with it.
Then animate the other hand in keyframes to make it look like it's also holding the bat.
Another approach if it works might be to teleort the bat to one hand using a tag called right (for right hand) and then teleort the other hand to the appropriate position on the bat using a separate tag called left (for the left hand), though I'm not sure you can teleport a puppet hand like that.
Please let me know if you get it working
