Possible to switch character models in keyframe?
I was wondering, if I have created an animation using keyframes, is it possible to switch the character models but retain the animations?
Currently I'm using the Deluxe "stickman" created by MM, but I come across awesome character models all the time, so it would be nice if I could switch up models.

No. Because you are recording what you are doing or animating, on that particular character.

I think it's possible but really cumbersome. You basically have to grab each individual limb of the new puppet, copy it and while holding R2, press L1+x to scope into your puppet with the animation, on the correct limb. Then you can either delete the other limb or make it invisible

'@Denjo92 is correct. The animation is fixed to the mannequin parts so you would have to add the sculpts for each part of the characters body to the mannequin with the animation in it. So stamp your character and clone each of the following body parts, then scope into the same area on your animated model and add to that group. You are basically reconstructing the sculpt on a different rig. You may find the new character is slightly higher in graphic thermo as you will probably be doubling up on some of the blue parts that are hidden under the sculpt unless you can easily delete them (will depend if the creator added new sculpts to his model or directly onto or into the blue mannequin).
