How do I paint the backdrop and remove it's lightsource?

Maybe it's not possible to paint the background?

  Hi Col_Nelson,
  
  It's not possible to paint the background. But stamp a Sky Gadget and you'll be able to change it and even reduce the Sun brightness to 0%.

  You can also turn down the sky horizon definition and turn up the tint to make it more uniform.
