How do I trigger an audio in the audio timeline to go off when someone approaches a triggered object?
How do I trigger a sound effect in audio timeline to go off when player approaches object?
I have a scene where I want the viewer or player to come in and here music and effects but when they get close to where a creature is in the distance, the creature snarls.
I’ve placed a trigger zone where I want the sound to go off and connected the power source from trigger to audio I want to activate but it’s not working and I’m not sure how to make it active.

put the sound effect on/near the creature. Tweak it to see how big the audio will be - its possible it is playing but you aren't close enough to hear it? Also check the sound effect is set to '>' play once - the trigger zone may only send a short pulse but you'll want the sound effect to not stop once triggered.

I did something similar in my "The Cave" level for the ComJam. My sound effect is not on a timeline, but near the creature. I set the trigger zone and have it power the sound. When the player is in the trigger zone the sound plays. It's remixable if you want to take a peak at how I did it.

I'd like to know this also. The two answers are for getting the trigger to play a sound...not stop an existing playing sound. How do you use a trigger to end a sound that's already playing?
