Having puppet pick up an item and then carry it?
I’ve created the animation for a puppet to pick up an item that’s slightly larger than a bowling ball. But now I’m not sure how I can have the puppet actually hold that ball and carry it? Any suggestions?

Either set an instance of it in the puppets ground and set it as visible once you enter the holding state, or you could attach a tag to the puppet and have the thing follow the tag religiously

Yeah, I was playing with the idea of have the ball grouped with the puppet and then appear when in the pick up animation, but not sure that will look very smooth as the other ball will need to disappear... using a tag is another idea, but when I tried to attach a tag to the puppets hand, it disappeared...

The follower gadget is somehow not fast enough to follow a tag that is placed on a puppet, but the teleport gadget is. Scope into the puppet and then attach the tag to its hand and let I be activated at the end of your pick up object animation.
