How do I make foot steps audio for my puppet?

I've been copying the Blank Puppet (Deluxe) for the most part but can't figure out why it has foot steps audio or how to give foot steps audio to my puppet? Dreams is brilliant by the way, I'm loving it!

  Scope into the puppet (L1 + X), On the bottom of its feet, you'll find the chip with its logic, which is all basically guided by the puppet controller, that blue chip in the other chips you can find inside. In the upper left corner you have SFX, and inside there is a controller with the outputs for steps and jump being wired to 3 dedicated sounds. You can just take those sounds and change them to your liking if you want to get started with something.

  btw there are material specific sounds for the surface its walking on that you can choose in a sculpt's tweaks.
