Puppet camera question
Is there a way promoting the puppet camera to follow the puppet when feet are NOT on ground?
Trying to make a puppet “float” upwards (using movers, followers, or force appliers) and once the feet leave the ground, the camera doesn’t follow properly until the feet are on the ground again - if the puppet is levitating a few meters above the ground the camera wants to stay low and the puppet goes out of focus.
The obvious workaround I can think of would be to use an invisible platform so the puppet feet stay on the ground, but is there another way? Is there a tweak or trick to making the camera constantly follow the puppet?

Not that I've found, unfortunately. I think the reasoning is that the general case of running around on the ground and jumping from time to time is better for the player if the camera doesn't jolt up every time they jump--so it's generally laggy on the Y axis. But of course that's not so useful in other situations.
Would be great to have more settings for the built-in camera so we can fix things like this without resorting to hacks like the invisible platform. But for now, that's all we've got.

The only other possibility is adding a camera pointer. This locks the camera to be at the focus point at all times... but also locks in the camera angle which is normally not what you want.

Yeah, for my purpose I need to retain player control over the camera angle. At this point in my process it’s not a huge deal to do the platform solution but I figured may as well put the question out there just in case. Thanks for the reply :)
