Please give a warning before allowing an edit too large to undo

Twice this week I have deleted large groups (once intentionally and once by accident), and found that the edit could not be undone, forcing me to revert to an old save and lose work.

Can we please have a message to alert us before such an edit is made? The notice usually comes afterwards, which is not very helpful. This week I'm not even getting the notice, just an unresponsive undo button.

  I've been reminded that this warning does exist, but it appears inconsistently. So it seems this is a Bug, not an Idea.

  As you noted in your tweet, there is a "don't show this again" option for this. (Which I feel like would be a terrible idea to use honestly XD) So I'd co-opt this idea to say that should be in preferences so we can switch it back off to keep showing the message again. :D
