Groups sticker text boxes basically do nothing

If you have a group of sticker text displayers with no sculpt of paint inside the group, the text will snap to nothing, instead i propose that they would snap to everything outside the group. This would allow for better management and easier movement of the text boxes

  If you want to create a “layer” (set of stickers grouped into one) it is not possible. The moment you add a text gadget to a group, it will not be able to project onto anything outside of that group.

  Picture combining multiple stickers to form a costume or design. The task of tweaks becomes laborious when you can’t make changes in bulk (by modifying groups).

  You can select multiple text gadgets to be able to change them all at once.

  I think I understand what OP was saying now. (I have a feeling they edited in more context?)

  This would be a nice touch--detecting if there's no paint/sculpts in a group, and then projecting outside. Though there would be cases where that could be a problem, so perhaps just a simple switch on a group which allows stickers inside it to project outside the group!
