Emitting text gadgets with sticker mode enabled
Hi!
So currently it seems you have to group text gadgets with something else to be able to emit.
The sticker projection only interacts with the contents within, and not the environment outside the group.
Unless I'm missing something, this means emitting real time dynamic decal effects such as splats, bullet holes, cracks etc into the scene isn't possible at the moment.
Having the option to emit ungrouped text boxes would be awesome!
Also, having something similar to the label system to define which objects the projection can (or more importantly, can not) interact with would be even more awesome.
Hope that makes sense
Thanks!

You can trick an Emitter into emitting a single logic gadget:
- Group the logic gadget that you want to emit with something else.
- Make the Emitter emit that group.
- Scope into the group - you need "preview invisible" turned off to do this.
- Delete the object that you didn't want to emit - at this point, the group decays and the Emitter is left emitting the single logic gadget.
And if that single logic gadget is a sticker mode Text Displayer, it will be emitted into the root scope of the scene and should be able to project onto anything.
