Timelines that don’t stretch for miles and miles
Currently when you zoom in on a timeline it stretches the timeline at its sides making it very very long. This makes it very hard to manage keyframes. My suggestion would be something like the gif below, where we can drag the inside of the timeline to see different parts and it remains the same size.
so essentially parts of the timeline are hidden until you drag on the timeline to see them.
also timeline bookmarks would be a great help as well, to help us make notes and search through timelines at a specific spot. Maybe something like a tick with a line running through the timeline to represent the spot being bookmarked.

Could be cool... Like a scrollbar, effectively.
Regarding adding "notes," we can do that kind of thing by just plopping a gadget on there. Maybe a chip so we can give it a name and icon, and hover to see the text. The idea's fine, but a lot less likely to get picked up because it's easy to do with existing functionality.
