How do I texture an object? For example a tree trunk.
Trying to make a simple tree but I can't find a way to make the tree trunk have veins going down all around it.

Disable the black and white mode in sculpt mode?
I must have pressed a button but everything is black and white when I go in to sculpt mode except for the new shapes that I make, even though I'm trying to sculpt from the default model.
