How do I make it to show the paint strokes only when my character is doing certain action?

My character has this blocking animation, but I want him to show an effect of a magic shield. I painted the strokes, but I'm not sure how to make them to show only when pressing the block button.

    Tweak the paint stroke and try hooking up the block button to the visibility toggle of the stroke.

    I already did that (thanks by the way), but the strokes stay in one place and won't move with my chracter.

    Hi SlyRowe2!

    You'll need to make sure that the painted strokes are grouped with your character on the deepest group possible, if you know what I mean? Within the group that makes most sense, so if you want it be move with the hands, or the body for example :)

    As they need to be able to move around with your character.

    That's how we trigger the singed effect on Connie in the Health Tutorial under the Logic Tutorials :)

    Sorry just to add!

    So if they are outside of your character grab the paint strokes with you image and then scope into your character while you're holding them to pull them inside :)

    Just in case you didn't know that! You might do :)
