Troubles with climbing animation
So Im lost with animating the puppet. Im trying to make it climb a ladder and stay threre.
But when I animate using keyframes, the puppet moves away from the base (blue circle is still on the original floor downstairs). And when the last keyframe is deactivate the puppet teleports down. (I tried to unable "keep changes" on the last frame, but it does not change the behaviour).
What needs to be done, so after the animation the puppet stays at the new location reached by the keafram animation?

Ok. So now Im having different problem. I gave up and decided to change the animation.
Now I have two puppets and I want them to hand over the object. The object is in hands of both puppets (so it is moved with the palm) and I just switch the (in)visibility at the keyframe where they are at the propper place. And I want to do this twice.
So... the first them animation run perfect and it looks really convincing. Then the second puppet puth the object down (visibility = off) and go the get the second obejct.
I copy+pasted the same keyframes, because I want to do the same. But second time, the object in hands just fly all around and it takes short (but visible) time before they get back to the hands.
Any ideas what may be the problem? The obejct is part of the palm group. The colisions are turned off. I tried to disable smoothing of the keyframe. Change the physics settings. But nothing helps :-/ -
Maybe try build the second handover animation again with fresh keyframes. The copied frames may be getting confused due to positioning of part of the animated puppets or objects being different on the second playthrough.

As for the climbing animation the upward movement of the climb would be provided via a mover rather than in the animation itself. The animation would simply be a climbing motion (hands and legs moving to simulate climbing) in one position without pulling the puppet away from its base. When the animation and mover are combined you get a climbing animation coupled with upward movement. You may need to turn off gravity for the puppet while climbing using a keyframe and use a look at rotator to keep facing the ladder etc... It's a complex animation for sure
