HELP! Puppet calf "bone" will not connect to body structure. "Bone" icon stays gray?
I've deleted all the original Basic Puppet sculpts and replaced them with my own sculpts (same number of body parts). I've put in all the connectors, ball joints and bolt joints. Next I went to body structure and began to connect them starting with the pelvis and outward. When I get to the calfs the "bone" icon stays gray. I hover over the calf "bone" icon and the calf on my puppet begins to flash green. From the calfs down the "bone" icons stay gray. All other icons are white. I cannot figure this out, please help?

I scoped in once and tried to reposition the leg and the ball joint came apart at the center and has a red line between the two halfs, I feel like this may have something to do with my problem. Other limbs don't do this because they are assigned to "bones" maybe?

And now movements I do with the puppet DO NOT undo. I scoped in once, repositioned the arm and then hit undo and the arm stayed in that position, so I hit undo like 20 times and it would undo everything but that arms position.

Here's something that might be effecting it, the sculpt for the thigh was made with the "CURVE" sculpt tool. Would that effect the joints and "bone" connections???

UPDATE: Got it connecting properly. So if you look at the picture, I have the knees and ankles going from BLUE to YELLOW on the joint connectors. It needs to be from YELLOW to BLUE going outwards from the pelvic bone!!! Process of elimination. Ugh. TIme to spread the word.

Yes. Yellow is the parent object, blue is the child object. This is pretty much to allow IK to work correctly. Also, when adding a new connector, add it to the parent and then the child, not the other way around.
(Just for others coming here.)
