Debug console

That would be cool. I've actually done stuff like that before to debug--emitting some text that moves up the screen over time. Not as ideal as a proper log, but gets the job done ;P

Me too. At the minute do stuff like text displays. Counters and what not. It works well. Gets a bit fiddly when you are not sure what happens first.

Or how about a tweak setting on every Gadget? When the "debug" tweak is on for a Gadget, then, if debugging has been activated, every tweaked Gadget has info automatically logged to a debug log. Turning on "debug" for a chip should turn on debug for all contained Gadgets

This would be very useful. The "turn on for all contained gadgets" should be an optional tweak. E.g. "off", "on" and "override". Override would force all contained gadgets to "yes".
