Loop Microchip

Repeats the logic in the microchip multiple times within 1 frame. This would let us create logic like emitting 100 objects in different locations in 1 frame. It would remove alot of the jank that comes from having to create systems that take like 10 seconds to run once. It would also open a pathway up to adding arrays. Loops are a fundamental part of programming/logic so it would be super useful to have added.

  Agree. Have requested this before. I think the major limitation for this to become a reality is built into the logic system. Each gadget can only be activated once per tick. They would have to do some magic to get this working. But think about it, what if you have an output signal that fires 100 times. Anything it is connected with would only be able to activate once. They would probably have to rework the logic system or impose limitations. Only the logic in the loop chip will execute multiple times. Anything external would only be allowed to fire once. Even then I can’t see it really fitting in the logic flow.

  But, yes. I bloody want this feature. It’s one of the major bottlenecks of doing logic stuff in Dreams. When “scripting” was added to the Trello, i thought this could be the magic bullet. Sadly it got removed.
