Not have multiple connectors cause a wobble chain reaction mess using motors not keyframes?

Do your sculpts have weight associated with them? My joints break all the time too and I'm trying to find a solution, sometimes making them have zero mass helps.

I tried lowering weight, gravity does not affect, groups within groups, max tightness (which then means even max strength motors can't move), and higher physics. That was all I could think to try. I know when I condense it all down into the intended positions rather than the current expanded it works a bit better but still bad.

I haven't tried adjusting springiness in the properties panel. I assumed that wouldn't work.
