Keyframes and hiding during animation
So I am putting together a simple weapon attack animation. The character starts with the weapon at his side, grabs it, then attacks. Due to the way I have the weapon I want to hide it from his side and then unhide it when the animation is over. I have everything working but after the animation is over, the weapon stays hidden.

One way around this would be to record your animation in one keyframe and then use another keyframe where all you do is power on your weapon.
A counter before your "power on" keyframe would be a good way to keep it powered on and allow it to be toggled off by something else if needed. -
Another option is to make a keyframe and record hiding the weapon. Make sure the keyframe has "Keep Changes" off in its tweak menu. That means the weapon will go back to its original state when the keyframe turns off. You can then drag the keyframe on to your timeline with the animation of the weapon attack. Scale it to make it the same length as the animation and it should just work!

Thanks Bogdan & Matt (as well as Oregano), I'll get that a try!
