HDI connect a wheel to a chassis nothing seems to work
I have a wheel and I have a chassis with a working steering rack. When I try to attach the wheel to the hub with a bolt or motor bolt it connects but doesnt seem to connect to the hub turning left/right. Hopefully someone can help as it's really bugging me. TIA

I'm in the middle of trying to build this. My idea was to make two cylinders for the 'steering' mechanism, and have a bolt pinning the cylinder vertically to the underside of the car (with a hollow big enough to accommodate both the cylinders and a bit of the wheel itself, with an arch so the wheel doesn't hit the car body). So far it seems to work OK (but maaaan, they really do need to work on making it easier to 'centre' bolts in things like the face of a cylinder etc). The only issue I've got now is that I need both wheels to steer simultaneously in the same direction at the same angle of rotation for the cylinder. A lot of adjusting the allowable angle!! Most folk I've seen that do vehicles that steer don't even bother with this so maybe I'm overcooking it by trying to make it like a real actual car's steering?

Just reporting back that I couldn't get this to work anywhere near how I imagined. The main thing I ran headlong into is that there's no tutorial that tells you how to control the direction of a motor bolt (for example, I want the bolt to rotate slowly one way if I push the stick to the left, another way if I push to the right, like steering in a driving game). No way, no day could I get that to work. I also couldn't get bolts 'flush' against two objects
