Cloning groups vs live cloning groups
Not really "how do I?", but more of a question on how the system works. Not sure where this kind of question should go...
What is the outcome of the following:
- Create a sculpt.
- Live-clone it a couple of times.
- Group the two clones, leaving the original separate (for ease of explanation).
- Dead-clone the group itself.
- Edit the original.
The group of live-clones would update. But would the cloned group's contents update as well? Or would they become dead-clones because the group was only dead-cloned?
-
What is dead and live cloning?

'@Aratiatia.
Live cloning allows you to clone a sculpt and when you edit one of the clone the others get updated to match.
this is useful when youre making a biped and want to have the limbs to match. it also
and to answer the original post. they aren't live clones anymore. i tried since those clones used the regular clone feature. it overrides it. -
Yeah... Tried this the other day. Would be good to have documentation on this somewhere.
