Wireless transmitters and receivers??

I haven't experimented much with these and so I was just wondering if anybody knows if you can have multiple transmitters transmit to s single receiver and if you can have multiple receivers receive from one transmitter. Yes? No?

Multiple transmitters can all go to a single receiver, so long as they're all outputting the same signal - the one the receiver is tuned to pick up.

You can also have multiple receivers pick up the broadcast from a single transmitter.
