Link level without puppet?

I‘m making a short movie. And one scene is an other creation. So my problem is; there are no puppets in my scenes and no doors. I tried to stamp the portal into the timeline but It won‘t show it when i want to link the scenes. Sorry for my english.

  Use the doorway gadget. The name is misleading as it's not an actual physical door. All it does (when set to exit mode) is exit the scene when powered on. In a Dream, you'll link this "exit point" to the "entry point" in the next scene, where you'll also want to create a doorway set to entry mode.

  Isn‘t the doorway gadget a portal? Cause i did that and the scene then ends. But in the dream edit mode it won‘t show me the linking point. Is it mabye a bug?
