Adding sculpt to another sculpt and moving them together
I have a space ship made of a single sculpt. I want to add flames and other glowing bits on to the ship. If I sculpt something how do I attach it to the ship so it all moves together? I scope in as low as I go and add the new sculpt but it doesn’t move when I move the ship via controller. The settings for both individual sculpts are not moveable but the group is set to moveable. Any idea what I might be missing?
I can scope in and add things to a puppet ok but not this does not seem to work the same way.

You could try this and see if it works. While both sculpts are still independant of each other, set their parameters to non-movable.
Then select both sculpts using X and create a group using the + button on the right hand side (it should show 2 objects selected). -
You should group them. And then it is important to place the mover on the group (not inside it). That will move all the objects together.

Thanks Cloud and Agarwel
Thanks for the suggestions, I’ve got something to follow the ship now but it isn’t quite attached yet and it’s position seems to lag behind it a bit. I’ll keep messing around. -
You may need to use a Connector to attach the parts. Sometimes just grouping works, but if parts are moving it can work better to actually connect them.
