I changed the player character's starting point in the level, now keyframe animations don't line up right
What's the best way to get around this? Is there any way to make a keyframe be tied to world space rather than the character's local space?
Is it simply to not do any animations until I'm 100% sure where the character will start at?
Or is there some way to edit multiple keyframes at once?

I also had trouble with this. Keyframes are always relative to the things they affect, so it's unavoidable. If you have keyframes that move something to precise locations, it's best to freeze the original into place in Edit mode so you can't accidentally move it.

If you keyframe the whole model, it will make absolute reference of the position. If you scope in and keyframe bodyparts then they are relative references. If you scope in and move the whole model by dragging its Parent body part (the one with the yellow ends of the connectors on it) that will move the whole thing by dragging the limbs but will only be a relative frame.
