Is there any way to properly convert a music instrument to a sound effect. I'm trying to create a character that uses the bell instrument attached somewhere to them that jingles as the player moves around. I'd like for the jingling to increase in frequency as the character moves faster so running will sound the bell more. I've tried editing the playback speed, but it just distorts the sound so that it is no longer recognizable as a bell.
Also converting the instrument to a sound effect in the menu changes the sound more than I would like.

Right at the bottom of the first page of an instruments tweak menu is the option to switch between instrument and sound effect.
For increasing pitch you don’t want to increase speed, but you can increase the pitch on the second page.

I don't exactly want to increase the pitch of the bell. I want the sound to happen more frequently. Like wearing an actual bell, it'll jingle more the more you move around.

Ah I see. You could place the bell sound effect on a looping timeline and wire the characters wall speed into the speed of the timeline.

Alright. This was something I had considered, but I wasn't sure if there was an easier way or not.
