How do I: Make Transparent clouds like in Tutorial #1?

The first tutorial has brush flecks that are transparent. How do you adjust the transparency to make that kind of cloud brush?

The clouds are locked in the tutorial so I can't edit them. Is there some way I can unlock them?

Go into the painting menu and adjust opacity.

you can enter the paint stroke options by pressing L1+ Square onto the paintstrokes. On the first page you can adjust opacity

Thanks I kept trying to do it in Sculpt mode. Paint mode is exactly it!
