A ‘library/bookshelf’ area to add your fav creations to.
It would be great if we could add items to our library/bookshelf like other gaming/art platforms instead of users having to create custom collections like ‘currently playing’ just to remember how to access stuff they like.

Definitely. Dreams is hamstrung by a lack of decent file management options, and collections are an inadequate substitute

Currently, collections exist in a massive file dump. It is possible to create collections within the file dump, but no way to organize the actual file dump itself.
For example, on a computer, you have your working files and you have a game library for various platform storefronts.
It would be great to have a bookshelf button that goes into a library of other users created content to parse through and organize as you wish, rather than our file dump which is a massive collection of everything, our content mixed with others content.
Especially because there are so many more creators than players in Dreams, any time taken to streamline the content browsing experience from other players the better.
New and experienced Dreanwrs shouldn’t have to create a ‘currently playing’ collection just to keep track of their ongoing games, it should be simpler than that.

I have always thought this. Currently there isn't really a way that you can feel like you "own" a copy of the game. A Collection could work, but its not quite the same. Plus its a very manual process. If we could just click "add to your library" then it kind of gives a nice sense of owernship. Then you would need a dedicated UI where you can view your library of titles. Maybe I am the minority but the "play later" kind of gets lost in the sea of feeds. I dont feel like I am attached or have "collected" that game.
This could of course all be fixed if there was an "add to <your collection>" option which automatically adds the Dream to a drop down list of your personal collections. It is not much fun having to spend about 1-4 minutes loading collection, searching for Dream, adding Dream to collection, saving collection...
Perhaps if there was a dedicated Library and you click "add", that particular version of the Dream is the one that gets saved into your library. You can then view an overview from the Dream and choose to update to the latest. This gives the author more incentive to maintain the updates if there is a dedicated place for users to see news on your creation! It could also role into a "community hub" for that creation. Much like Steam has.

Yeah similar to a list of movies. Because The play later removes the item even after the briefest of playtime.

Hmmm, a bookshelf of favourite creations... That you could make public (perhaps by 'installing' it in your homespace) so people can have a nose at each other's bookshelves...

I’m not sure if you are aware but this is in the Trello under future or at least a favourite pinning system is. Perhaps as a result of this thread I don’t know.
