Hm, I wired a camera to keep it powered down in the timeline, but it seemed to activate anyway when the playhead reached it. Maybe my logic to keep it off was faulty though.

There's a Global Settings gadget where you can choose to not show imps. Auto-possess is an option in the Controller Sensor of the puppet.
