Intergrate indreams.me Forums Into Dreams

Oh, and for those wondering why I didn't post this in Ideas, this topic revolves more around the community as a whole rather than being just a simple QoL feature that tends to dominate that category. I felt this category was more appropriate for this sort of discussion.

I agree with pretty much all of this.  I'm a huge proponent of all things being available IN GAME.

Someday it would be great to hear Mm have a frank and open discussion on these topics.  I'm sure some things are due to limitations but at times it seems that their priorities differ from ours.  Not that i believe that i'm representative of the current Dreams community, but i do believe i represent a largely missed group of potential players.

Do many games have in-game communities and forums like that? I've only really been in the Dreams community, but I can't imagine there are many in-game ways of doing what Twitter, Reddit, and forums like this do.

TAPgiles Dreams is unusual in that the game itself already has the UI widgets for working with forum threads - we use them when we leave comments on creations and user profiles.

Most games with online communities don't have those features in the game itself, so those games using external social media for their bug report / feature request / general discussion forums isn't really a good guide as to whether Dreams should do the same.

TAPgiles None that I'm aware of, but as far as I'm aware most games don't feature a full suite of features like Dreams does, and game development requires weeks to months worth of investment for a single project (even in Dreams), so I believe there does need to be a bigger emphasis on ease of communication and collaboration within Dreams itself.

So since we already have in-game profiles and in-game comment sections, it seems plausible to have an in-game forum.
