Early Access Create Mode for new Gadgets/Tools

A separate "Create Mode" just for new gadgets/tools that are in development.

Not only is it more efficient to bug test it, but Mm can also receive valuable feedback.

And the community feels more engaged in the development of Dreams.

 

The gadgets/tools are only available in this mode and it can't be published. Or maybe published into a separate instance of the Dreamiverse, to show to Mm found bugs ect.

    I wouldn't mind if this option was only available to Mm verified creators. It'd be nice to at least have some form of confirmation that some features are still being worked on for a future TLC update. It's now been over a year since they teased the image importer with the Impy hub.

    Not sure about restricting it to verified only. The point of such mode would be to

    A: Give these tools to a bigger audience than their 10-20 QA team and

    B: make creators finally get excited to use new stuff, plan their current creations with these tools in mind and obviously offer feedback on how to improve the tools.

    I understand. I only suggested verified creators because I'm assuming Mm wouldn't trust most of the community to not abuse early access features. Just look at how some people imported copyrighted music, or how some people figured out you can crash Dreams with lots of stickers.

    As someone who's so off Mm's radar that my chances of getting access to such features are 0 to none, I'm okay with big creators becoming verified and getting access to those features because at least I know something is being worked on and I might even get the chance to play a game by a verified creator who's utilizing an experimental feature. I would much prefer that over the radio silence we're used to experiencing.
