Is there a way so motion controllers can only move the imp in a single plane like the DS4?

I’d like to be able to move a possessed object around in a plane with the camera with one of the moves with a controller sensor set to ‘follow imp’ works with the ds4 but with the moves it adds depth too

Is there a way to do this?

  Try adding a mover to the object. Set it to 0 speed, and damping 100% in whatever axis you don't want it to move in. "Damping" is the gadget's ability to slow the object to the desired speed.
