What does using the PS4 Camera + Duel shock control mode do?

I'm trying to play Dream's laying on my back with the Gyro pointing towards the ceiling. Is there any way that is possible?

    Have you tried it, and found problems? That should work fine. The controller doesn't use the camera to sense rotation. And calibrating the controller by holding Options will set the "pointing at the middle of the screen" rotation. So it doesn't matter what gravity is doing; you can always calibrate it regardless.

    Yes, this is possible. You just have to get your head around how the motion sensoring works. It took me one evening and a lot of imp resetting to get it :D

    I have tried it but the gyro can't point strait up with how it works. The Imp turns upside down.

    Is there a way too keep the imp from turning upside down?

    Oh no, you're right! I was simulating that right now. You have to keep the controller in a more upright position but that might be uncomfortable...
    All controls will be inverted if the imp is on his head :-/

    I was looking through the menu but there is no option for that, sorry
