Why the cube don't always move the puppet

Sometimes it works and sometime it don't. I trying to figure out what it is that I am doing wrong when it don't. I grab the cube and scope in to the puppet and then put a rotater on in and sometime it spin the puppet. But most time spin off the puppet and the other times it just spin on the puppet. I want it to spin the puppet. How does this work ?

    "The cube"? Is that a particular cube, or...? What is the cube there for?

    If you put the rotator surface-snapped onto the puppet group, it will spin the puppet. If you put it inside the puppet's chip, it will also spin the puppet.

    Remember to make sure the rotation is something useful though by adjusting the gizmo. By default it'll try to spin the object "head over heels," but a puppet object can't rotate like that; it's always guaranteed to be upright. So you'll need to make it spin on the spot by change the gizmo orientation.

    Yes that work sticking the Rotator in the microchip of the puppet work.
