Visitor stats for collections
I make collections. This is my contribution to the Dreams community - a chart of the years most popular Dreams, my recommendations for the week, plus themed collections.
However, collections do not have any viewing statistics, and they do not prompt anyone to press the like button for them. They are not promoted by the Dreams infrastructure.
I do not know if I have an audience of 5 people or 5,000. I have literally no idea if all the hard work I put into these collections is warranted, and it is becoming a problem for me. Without knowing if I have an audience I feel less inclined to continue making them. I need stats on how many people are viewing my collections.
I have requested more visibility for collection makers before, but the response has just been to add yet more curated collections by Mm staff. We are at the point now that Mm has the monopoly on what Dreamers see, and the community curators who they said at the beginning would be "very important" have been pushed into obscurity.
I am not sure how long I can continue to make collections in Dreams in an information vacuum. And if I am making collections that no one views or wants, then I am wasting my time here. It is very important that curators get the same courtesies as Dreams makers and can see if they have an audience or not.

Yeah that's a weird one. They only show "used in" stats, and if we go digging, thumbed-up count and followers. Would be great to have the ones you mentioned, plus maybe "stamps from this collection" as a special stat showing how useful that collection has been.
When you view a collection there is a thumbs up button in the top-right. We don't see that when viewing our own collections though.

@TApgiles To be clear, I am aware it is possible to like a collection. It is just that Dreams will give you the option to thumb up when you stop playing - this encourages people to thumb up - there is nothing similar for collections when you exit - you also do not see the "profile page" of a collection by default so you also do not see the comments, so there is no incentive to leave one.
"Used in stats" are not helpful for collections because the idea is that the collection is a thing into itself, and not many people make collections of collections.
If I only go by the used in, and followers stats on my collections then I am only reaching 1-7 people, and that is so depressing - but looking at other peoples Dreams creations and compare their follower stats to their play numbers it is not a good indication of interest at all and can be less than 1% of the overall visitor numbers. -
Oh yeah, I know "used in" is almost completely useless. I was saying that's the only stat that is there, which isn't sufficient and it would be good for the extra ones you mentioned to be added.
