You could store the music timeline’s playhead position output in a variable and then use it in the other dream when you start up to see the playhead position, perhaps.

Open the timeline and wire a signal generator to the playhead (the <> circle at the bottom) and then adjust the signal generator’s sweep time to set the playback speed.

Hook the trigger zone to a default counter’s add input and then hook the counter full to a timeline tweaked (L1+Square) to only play once’s power input.

You can either use a rotator gadget or a motor bolt to do this :) checkout the logic tutorials in the game

You should be able to use a variable gadget to store data between plays.

Distortion (icon looks like ?) and pitch shifting are probably the 2 things I’d go to for robot voices.

Maybe some modulation, but really, just play around with the various settings, it can be pretty fun to explore :)
